Chosłowski, Józef (1845 Joseph Chosłowski, Joseph von Choslowsky), 1857/58 member of the 2nd Chamber of the Prussian Landtag, 1874-77 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *16.12.1821 Sienno near Wongrowitz/Wągrowiec, †10.11.1881 Ulenhof/Ułanowo near Kletzk/Kłecko; estate owner. After attending the Maria-Magdalena grammar school in Poznan he studied law in Breslau and became a Doctor of Law in 1845. Owner of the Ulenhof estate. In the 1848 revolution he was a member of the Polish National Committee that was founded in Poznan. During the Polish January Üprising in 1863 he was arrested for a short time in Poznan and Gniezno and listed as a suspect by the Berlin Supreme Court. In January 1874 he was elected as a Member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Gniezno-Wongrowitz with a majority of 78.83%.
