Jankowski, Theodor, 1907-12 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *11.9.1852 Flatow/Złotów, †16.4.1919 Upper Silesia. Catholic priest. After attending the grammar school in Conitz/Chojnice he studied theology and philology in Breslau. Initially he was a house teacher. In 1887 he was appointed a chaplain in Pilchowitz/Pilchowice, Friedland/Korfantów and Loslau/Wodzisław Śląski, and in 1891 he became the parish priest in Groß Kottorz/Kotórz Wielki near Turawa. In January 1907 he was elected in the second ballot as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of of Lublinitz-Tost-Gleiwitz/Lubliniec-Toszek-Gliwice with a majority of 53.65%. He sat on the select committees for Chambers of Labour, animal corpses and competition. picture: 1907.
