Sczaniecki, Michał Leon (Michael von Sczaniecki), 1878-87 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *13.4.1838 Laszczyn/Łaszczyn near Rawitsch/Rawicz in the district of Kröben/Krobia, †15.11.1920 Komorze/Komorza Tucholski near Tuchel/Tuchola, lord of the manor. He visited the St. Matthias grammar school and the University of Breslau. He was the lord of the manor at Nawra and Laszczyn, resident in Nawra near Culmsee/Chełmża. In July 1878, in October 1881 and in October 1884 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Thorn-Culm/Chełmno with majorities of 50.68%, 50.12% and 51.29% respectively. He was a member of the select committees on accident and sickness insurance, and sugar tax.
