Rybiński, Leon (Leo von Rybiński, Leo von Rybinski), 1870-73, 1879-85 member of the 2nd Chamber of the Prussian Landtag, 1871-77 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *28.6.1817 Sarnowo (from 1864 Sarnau)/Sarnowo in the district of Culm/Chełmno, †5.12.1904 Debenz/Dębiniec, in the district of Graudenz, lord of the manor. After attending grammar schools in Bromberg and Culm he studied law for three years in Berlin. He took his examination at the Supreme Court in Berlin, where he worked for a further year in the crime department. Subsequently he took over responsibility for the family estate in Debenz near Rheden/Radzyń Chełmiński, in the district of Graudenz. From 1860 onwards he was the regional deputy at the Royal West Prussian Regional Government in Marienwerder. In March 1871 and in January 1874 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Karthaus-Neustadt/Kartuzy-Wejherowo with majorities of 74.38% and 77.19% respectively.
