Taczanowski, Władysław (Wladislaw von Taczanowski, Wladislaus von Taczanowski), 1866/67 member of the 2nd Chamber of the Prussian Landtag, 1871-77 member of the Reichstag of the German Empire. *12.8.1825 Szyplow/Szypłów near Neustadt on the Warthe/Nowe Miasto nad Wartą, †12.3.1893 ibid., lord of the manor. After attending grammar schools in Poznan and Breslau he studied law in Berlin. He undertook journeys through Germany, Russia, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Hungary. Subsequently he was a farmer on his estates are he was the owner of the Mieschkow/Mieszków dominion near Jarotschin/Jarocin, and of the estates at Szyplow and Chwalencin/Chwalęcin near Neustadt an der Warthe. He resided at the Szyplow estate. In March 1871 and in January 1874 he was elected as a member of the Polish parliamentary group in the German Reichstag for the constituency of Wreschen-Pleschen/Września-Pleszew with majorities of 81.38% and 81.63% respectively.
